I can feel how desperate you are with your decision. I'm always the one who goes with the flow of life and let circumstances make decisions for me, and I get disoriented when the decisions aren't what I really want but are tempting with interesting prospects, good opportunities, or unknown mysteries. So far my attitude has worked fine for me, except it's not always completely satisfying.
